2. Google User Data We Access
Our extension requires access to specific Google user data to function properly:

- We access the names and IDs of your Google Docs files to display them in our document selector.
- This allows you to easily choose which document to add text to without manually entering document IDs.
- We do not access or read the content of documents until you specifically select them.
Google Docs Modification Access (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/documents

- We access the content of Google Docs files you specifically select to:
- Generate a preview of the document content in our extension interface
- Add formatted text that you create in our extension to your selected document
- Apply formatting including styles, colors, lists, and other text formatting you create
3. How We Use Your Google User Data
- Document Lists: Your Google Docs file names and IDs are temporarily loaded in the extension interface to enable document selection.
- Document Content: Content from your selected document is accessed only to:
- Generate a preview within the extension interface
- Determine where to add your new content
- Apply formatted text that you create within the extension
- No Data Storage: We do not store, retain, or transmit your document data to any external servers. All processing happens locally in your browser.
- No Data Mining: We do not analyze, mine, or use your document content for any purpose other than the direct functionality of the extension.
4. Information We Collect
- Local Storage: Used only for storing your preferences within the extension, never transmitted to external servers.
- Usage Data: Basic anonymous usage statistics may be collected to improve the extension.
5. Data Storage and Retention
We do not store your Google Docs or Drive data on our servers. All document interaction happens directly between your browser and Google's APIs. OAuth tokens are managed securely by Chrome's Identity API and stored only in your browser.
6. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. The only data exchange occurs directly between your browser and Google's APIs when you use the extension.
